attention all homeless

Have you ever seen a pregnant homeless woman?  Or a young homeless married couple expecting their first child?  If you know anyone who has been in this situation, could you relay these questions to them for me?

Where was the baby shower?  Did they register anywhere for the babies?  I have seen homeless people eat half eaten food, and dig through trashcans for other poeples stuff, do they reuse old diapers for their babies?  What did they use for babywipes? Newspaper?  What about a nursery, was there any planning involved in creating this baby zone? Or did they just put aside some fresh boxes for the newborn?  Do the babies keep them up all night or are they used to being up all night because they live on a sidewalk?  Do they have other homeless people babysit their kids while they are away from their shopping cart?.  Do they even buy a stroller or do they just use the shopping cart for their kids as well?  Maybe thats why they get the cart in the first place.  What do they teach them about strangers?  Do they have playdates with other neighborhood homeless babies?
