dreams stripped away
Today while standing on the subway, it occurred to me that holding the pole would be the closest I would ever be to being a stripper. However I soon realized that holding the pole in a subway verse holding one in a strip club is quite different.
First off, the subway costs 2 dollars no matter where you are going. A stripper can cost a hell of a lot more.
On the subway,… people are going to school. At the strip club strippers are making money to pay for school.
On the subway,… people are listening to music on their headphones. At the strip club strippers dance to music for all to hear.
On the subway,… people hold tightly to all their belongings. At the strip club strippers throw their clothes off and even give their panties to the crowd.
The biggest difference however is that on the subway, you are trying to avoid falling into someone’s lap. A stripper we all know is doing the exact opposite.
